Using Video for Court

Contact your attorney or local LOPD office to ask how the court wants you to appear for your hearing. Each court handles virtual and in-person hearings differently, so it is important to find out what your next hearing requires.

If you are appearing for court virtually, please remember that you are in a formal court proceeding. Make sure you are in a quiet place, dressed appropriately, and follow the directions of the judge and your attorney. If you need to speak privately with your attorney, it is OK to unmute yourself and ask the judge or courtroom monitor to speak privately with your attorney.
